“Transfiguration” is a device to experience the essential limits of the idea of body.
Before arriving at “Transfiguration” I fragmented the anatomical forms in the visual space for a long time.
In “Transfiguration” I try to reassemble them, condensing them into a new body shape.

The essential limits of the idea of body are tested through a process of transfiguration of the most familiar anatomical forms, the head, the eye cavities, the nose, the ears and the mouth.
The fragmentation of anatomical forms is still present, but tends to concentrate within the anatomical boundaries to start a process of perceptive implosion from within what we recognize as a face, a human-like head.
