Generationengerechtigkeit (Intergenerational Justice)

Abstract

I found ballot boxes in an old court and numbered metal tags in a workshop. I made this work with these objects and crepe paper. I’m exploring how governments handle voting rights and age limits. In my art, I combine current with art issues. One of the challenges I face is dealing with how things look and what they mean in society. As a result, I use decorative object, like the crepe paper, to have a visual contrast with political meanings. The aim is to add depth to my art and provoking thought.
