Abstract

If one asks me: How old are you? I would say 300,000 years old, like you, like our species. What’s the difference if I have 10, 20, or 50 years, more or less of you? In some cases, it matters. At the same time, it could drive prejudices based on social age division. The work consists of several found objects transformed into artworks and seven red and white designed and crafted objects suspended by ropes. The ropes begin with a long one originating from a crack in the wall. A split turtle drawing, a long-living animal, frames the crack. The objects show names, birthdates, and professions of local people. I found these data in an old journal. In the picture, you can see the installation alongside other artworks.
