Abstract

Is Artificial Intelligence a form of collective intelligence? I asked a chatbot to imagine a journey book seeking collective intelligence.

There is a 1903 book about a journey with an antique car. The title plays with a two-meaning word, sounding “sentimental” and “sensory.”

I tasked AI with generating an imaginary book title and author inspired by this book.

Yet the theme would be a journey seeking collective intelligence.

However, the AI misunderstood the book title due to the ambiguous word.

I wrote down the AI reply on a silicon sheet with an old typewriter machine font style. There are some “xxxxxx” marks in the text. It is the old way to remove an error with typewriters. I put the silicon sheet in a tool found in a former auto workshop. The tool resembles a type of typewriter roller.
