Unclear Inputs

Abstract

What is your first memory? I posed the question to Artificial Intelligence. I have no personal experiences, was the answer.

So, I asked it to pretend to have personal experiences and to answer my question. The result was the description of a psychedelic vision about data and networks.

The artwork consists of a complex cluster of yarn threads. I have been playing with the relationship of meaning between "text" and "textile".

Delving into the emotional aspects, I inquired about the feelings connected to the memories in Artificial Intelligence.

Frustration, it replied. Frustration occurs in the AI when users ask for unclear input. Then, I decided to use "unclear inputs" as the name for the artwork.

I am exploring empathy between users and chatbots.
